Sounds for the Discord soundboard
Discord's soundboard has hard limits that reject most files you find elsewhere. Everything on this page already fits, so you can upload straight from the download.

Ready for Discord
Every one of these already meets the spec above. Pick the Discord download on any sound and it arrives correctly encoded — no re-exporting.
Why most sounds get rejected
The two limits that catch people out are length and file size, and they are enforced together. A five-second clip at 320 kbps is roughly 200 KB, which passes — but the same clip exported as WAV is close to 900 KB and Discord refuses it without explaining why.
The other common failure is format. Discord accepts MP3 and OGG only. WAV and M4A files are rejected outright, which is a problem because most editing software exports WAV by default.
What the Discord preset does
Selecting the Discord download on any sound here gives you an MP3 trimmed to at most 5.2 seconds, encoded at 128 kbps, and normalised to −16 LUFS. At that bitrate a full-length 5.2-second clip lands around 83 KB — comfortably inside the 512 KB ceiling with room to spare.
Normalising matters more than it sounds. The single most common complaint about soundboards is that one sound is far louder than the rest and blows out everyone's headphones. Because every sound here is levelled to the same target, a board built from them is consistent by default.
Uploading
Open Server Settings, then Soundboard, then Upload Sound. Pick the file, give it a name, and optionally assign an emoji. Uploading requires the Manage Expressions permission, so on a server you do not run you will need an admin to do it.
Sounds are per-server, not per-account. If you want the same board on several servers you will need to upload it to each one.
